Belgian Club KRC Genk crowned European Champions
BELGIAN CLUB KRC GENK made it two trophies in two days at the conclusion of the Premier Cup European Qualification Tournament sponsored by Nike, after beating MTK Hungaria 1:0 at the Cristal Arena in Genk tonight.
The home side won through the last stages of the competition which brought together twenty of the finest young teams in Europe; gathered to fight for the Championship trophy and two highly coveted places at the World Finals of the Manchester United Premier Cup in August. KRC Genk will be joined in Manchester by runners-up MTK Hungaria.
